Home visits
Whenever possible a request for a home visit should be made before 10:00am.
In some circumstances a GP may arrange for a referral of the patient directly to hospital without seeing them first if this is the most appropriate course of action.
A home visit is restricted to patients who are house bound or who have a medical condition that, in the reasonable opinion of the GP, would make it inappropriate for them to attend the Practice premises. Please note home visit requests for reasons of transport difficulties cannot be accommodated.
