Surgery Times:
The practice is open from 8.15am until 6.30pm Monday to Friday. When we are closed at lunchtime please ring 01732 747200
Please visit reception or telephone 01732 747203, during office hours, to make an appointment. You can normally see the GP of your choice, although at busy times you may need to accept the first available appointment with an alternative GP or Practice Nurse.
When booking our reception staff will need to ask for some details of your problem in order to prioritise your needs, this helps direct your needs to the most appropriate team member or other service. Please tell us if your need is genuinely of an emergency nature and you will be seen on the same day. The Nurse Practitioner will normally make an initial assessment and liaise with the GP if necessary.
- All surgeries are run on a 10-minute appointment slot system.
- Some surgeries may require 20 minutes eg. dressings or suture removal, travel vaccinations etc.(please ask when booking)
- You may make an appointment, for routine matters, up to 6 weeks in advance.
- A comprehensive information leaflet on appointments is available at reception.
- You will be notified of waiting times longer than 20 minutes when you arrive.
- Please be patient and understanding when you are required to wait.
- You should be able to book an appointment within 2 days for routine matters.
- Telephone advice is always available with a GP or Practice Nurse.
- The Nurse Practitioner has appointments at 15 minute intervals.
- The Nurse Practitioner works closely with the GP's and will call the GP into consultation for further advice if needed. She can prescribe a range of medication and conduct medication reviews.
- ALWAYS CANCEL UNWANTED APPOINTMENTS PLEASE. It is possible to cancel an appointment by email, if you wish.
